I'm a Competitive Masters Swimmer and I've trained one-on-one with Lyle Dennis for the past 10 years. To excel at my sport I need strength, agility, mental focus and confidence. Lyle's training provides all of this and more. The exercises Lyle designs for me build a balanced, full-body strength generated from the core. I need this type of strength to maximize my power in the water.

Lyle teaches and stresses proper technique. He uses effective cues and imagery to emphasize the finer points of a movement. I can put 100% into an exercise because I know I'm performing it properly.

Lyle's workouts are unique and challenging. His liberal use of patterns, ladders and timed intervals keep me focused and motivate me to use my best effort. Overcoming the challenges he sets builds my confidence.

Lyle also helps me with my mental game. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience and often shares insights into goal setting, mental focus, attitude, and race preparation.

I'm currently training for the World Masters Swimming Championships being held in Italy this June. As for Lyle's part of my training plan, I'm confident I'll be properly prepared and able to race my best races. The rest is up to me.
